U Card Usage Rules

Eligibility: To apply for a U Card, by CPT Markets, you must first complete registration and successfully pass KYC verification on the CPT platform. Each verified user can apply for up to five CPT-branded Visa or Mastercard virtual cards.
Card Features: CPT virtual Visa and Mastercard cards are accepted worldwide. They support real-time conversion between cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies, allowing you to make both online and offline payments at major global merchants with ease.
Funding & Usage: When you transfer funds from your CPT account to the U-Card, the transaction will be reviewed and processed promptly. Once approved, the funds become instantly available for spending.
Fund Security: We provide secure and reliable currency conversion services to ensure your digital assets are safely converted into spendable funds, giving you confidence in every transaction.

Q: What is a U-Card?
A: A U-Card is a virtual card based on the Visa payment network. After linking it to WeChat Pay or Alipay, you can scan and pay directly for online or offline purchases.
Q: How do I apply for a U-Card?
A: Users must register a CPT Markets account and complete KYC verification. During the application process, the system will automatically retrieve your personal information. Please ensure that your registered name and phone number match those used for WeChat or Alipay to avoid account suspension due to risk control measures.
Q: Can I withdraw the U-Card balance for cash use?
A: Funds can only be used for compliant merchant payments. Cash withdrawals, transfers to bank cards, or card-to-card transfers are not supported. Transfers between personal consumer accounts are allowed; commercial merchant accounts are not.
Q: Can I link the U-Card with mobile payment apps?
A: Yes. You can link it with WeChat Pay or Alipay, provided the registered phone number matches and identity verification is completed.
Q: Is there a spending limit?
A: For security reasons, the U-Card has a single and daily transaction limit, with a maximum of USD 10,000. Mobile payment platforms also impose limits—single transactions are capped at RMB 3,000.
Q: Can I use it for online shopping?
A: Yes. Once linked to online payment channels, the card can be used for online purchases.
Q: Can I transfer funds from external wallets into a U-Card?
A: No. Only internal CPT accounts are supported.
Q: What should I do if my U-Card is lost or compromised?
A: Please contact CPT Markets customer support immediately for assistance.
Q: Are transaction fees charged when using the U-Card?
A: Yes. Overseas transactions incur an additional fee. Domestic transactions under RMB 300 and WeChat Pay transactions are fee-free.
Q: Can I withdraw funds using a U-Card?
A: Yes. After approval, withdrawals are subject to a 1.8% handling fee, which is charged by the bank. CPT does not charge any additional withdrawal fees.
